What is living to us? A good and typical Sicilian breakfast, a good book and a breath-taking panorama… all in a industrial-chic space with a twist, inside a nineteenth-century apartment.
Our breakfast will be served in a cozy and colorful room where you will find a rich breakfast buffet of Sicilian’s excellence products: cakes, pies, biscuits, croissants, cannoli, jams, honey, granita, iris … as well as natural fruit juice and much, much more … We will amaze you with a special every day. In this environment, the bulletin board of the typical Sicilian cookbooks is unmissable. Have fun looking for the right recipe to take with you on your return from holidays.
Many good books will keep you good company in our reading room. The selection, which we want to enrich day by day, includes books by Sicilian writers, books on Sicily and Catania, tourist guides about the city, Mt. Etna and other Sicilian beauties and the unmissable classics of world literature.
All books in our living areas, as also those presents inside the rooms, are freely available to read. Here is how we figure our guests: sitting on the armchairs of the reading area with a good coffee in one hand and a good book in the other.
In addition to the private balconies of the rooms, the city view is offered by our small but superpanoramic terrace. From there you will be able to enjoy a wide-ranging view, from Etna to the sea, passing through the rooftops and the domes of the center. And once you get there, do not forget to take a picture: it is definitely worth it, be it during the day (wonderful sunset) or in the evening (with the scenic illuminated cathedral).
